Lush has launched a “Scarecrow” Wicked body scrub, letting fans enjoy a shower inspired by global heartthrob Jonathan Bailey.
The Bridgerton star, who has been busy with roles in Jurassic World: Rebirth and Wicked, has had his iconic Wicked character, Prince Fiyero, immortalised in Lush’s new “Scarecrow” body scrub.
Last year, Bailey was voted as one of People’s sexiest men alive.
Lush’s “enchanting” nod to Bailey is made with ground aduki beans and cocoa and shea butters infused with rose petals. It is on sale for £10.
The product description reads: “You don’t need a brain to figure out that our Wicked: For Good x Lush body scrub will lead you to the dreamiest skin this side of Oz. Enchanted with our Let The Good Times Roll fragrance, you’ll be on the road to plenty of compliments in no time.”
UK Lush Club members will be able to pre-order the body scrub, with orders expected to be dispatched from 6 November.
Lush is a proud supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. This year, the company launched a bold campaign in partnership with trans-led organisations TransActual and My Genderation to reaffirm its commitment to trans rights and visibility.
The campaign came in the wake of the UK Supreme Court‘s controversial ruling on Wednesday (16 April), that the legal definition of a woman for the purposes the country’s Equality Act 2010 does not include transgender women.
In June, it was reported that Lush had ended its collaboration with Download Festival due to fallout from the event’s controversial trans toilet policy.
In an email shared on Bluesky by the trans rights group Strive, a Lush representative is quoted as saying: “We are terminating our collaboration with this event, so we will no longer be participating.”
Strive responded on the platform by saying: “Thank you Lush team for putting morals ahead of profits.”
