Reneé Rapp had some choice words for President Trump and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Monday (13 October) while performing in Portland, Oregon.
The singer was visiting the Moda centre as part of her Bite Me tour when she took a moment to speak to the crowd.
“We are very, very, very excited to be here with you in your wonderful, wonderful city,” the “Leave Me Alone” singer said.

“And it just happens that we, timeout, that we’re here at the same time some other people who shouldn’t f***ing be here are,” she continued. “So let’s get a couple of things abundantly f***ing clear,” Rapp said before adding, “F**k ICE, f**k this administration, and f**k Trump!”
This evoked an enthusiastic cheer of support from the audience who drowned out the singer’s next words. She then said, “You are very gracious hosts. Thank you for having us,” which drew more cheers. “I’m really glad that we’re a community and we’re all safe here tonight. So, thank you so much for coming.”
Portland is currently at the centre of a legal battle between the Trump administration and Oregon’s governor over Trump’s attempt to deploy 200 National Guard troops to Portland: a case that could test the limits of presidential authority over domestic military use.
There have also been widespread anti-ICE protests in Portland recently. The Guardian reports that crowds have gathered daily and nightly outside the immigration facility in Oregon’s largest city, many wearing inflatable frog, unicorn and banana costumes as they face off with federal law enforcement.
Reneé Rapp is one of a number of celebrities and public figures to blast ICE following raids across the US.

Chappell Roan also recently called out ICE saying “F**k ICE” forever at one of her shows in Los Angeles. Homeland Security assistant secretary for public affairs Tricia McLaughlin responded by telling Roan via TMZ: “Get a grip.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Alaska also branded ICE a “terrorist organisation” at LA Pride 2025. That followed a scaling up of ICE raids as part of Trump administration’s aggressive push to raise deportation numbers which led to large-scale protests across the US.
Figures from the Cato Institute, released in June, show that 65 per cent of people detained by immigration agents between 1 October last year and mid-June 2025 had never committed a crime.
