Sabrina Carpenter simulates lesbian sex position during ‘Juno’ performance, outraging conservatives

Pop hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter has irked conservatives for simulating what is seemingly a lesbian sex position whilst performing her horny track ‘Juno’, as if it’s not something she does at every gig on the Short n’ Sweet Tour.

The track – which features racy lyrics like “Wanna try out my fuzzy pink handcuffs?” and “I’m so f**kin’ horny”– is about Carpenter being so infatuated with someone that she wants them to impregnate her. The title of the song being a nod to the 2007 film Juno starring Elliott Page, in which a 16-year-old high-schooler (Page) becomes unexpectedly pregnant.

During every performance of the track on the Short n’ Sweet Tour, Carpenter will tease a different sexual position when she sings the lyrics “Wanna try out some freaky positions?/Have you ever tried this one?”. In the past this has included blow jobs, reverse cowgirl and various forms of missionary.

During her Stockholm show at the Avicii Arena, Carpenter, 25, unveiled a new position which one commentator called a “Juno position for the lesbians”. However others observed that it looked a more like motor boating than she was acting out cunnilingus.

Kneeling on the stage and putting her her mic down, the Espresso singer put both her hands out in front of herself and moved her face back and forth, whilst blowing her lips.

Critics have frequently called out Carpenter’s saucy displays at her shows because there might be children watching and were unsurprisingly unhappy with her X-rated demonstration.

Users on X/Twitter claimed Carpenter is “desperate for attention” and labelled her “disgusting”, “tacky” and “not a role model”.

“Guess true talent is a thing of the past. Disgusting,” one user wrote.

“Lots of kids and young girls look up to Sabrina Carpenter. This is pop music today. So vile,” a second said.

“She could do way better than that, she’s got the talent, man!,” a third wrote.

Others, however, were keen to defend the singer from what they see as a double standard compared with male artists.

“Biggest f**king crybabies in the world. ‘Be a role model!’ Hey guess what, she is. Shes successful, shes beautiful, shes doing what she wants how she wants. Men pop stars have been ‘provocative’ for decades and noone blinks an eye. F**k off,” one user wrote on social media.

“‘Under fire’ for the same s**t she’s been doing every concert she just mimics sexual positions,” another said.

A third user noted in a tongue-in-cheek post that if Carpenter was attempting to performatively represent tipping the velvet then it shows she has likely never engaged in sexual relations with a woman.

“Say you’ve never been with a woman without saying it directly:,” they wrote alongside a repost of the video.
