Halloween Kills is one of the most-anticipated film releases of 2021.
The iconic slasher film is back with the 12th installment in the Halloween franchise and it’s being released on 15 October
There’s good news for fans of the Michael Myers-horror series as Halloween Kills is being released on streaming services and in theatres simultaneously.
After a number of delays due to the pandemic, Universal has announced the film will be available to stream on Peacock as well as cinemas.
The film will star Jamie Lee Curtis who returns to her role as Laurie Strode, which helped her gain international recognition and become a certified ‘scream queen’.
She appears alongside Judy Greer and Andi Matichak who joined the franchise for the 2018 film as Karen and Allyson.
Other notable cast members include Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards and Nancy Stephens who will both their roles from the original 1978 film.
The plot takes place minutes after the last film as Laurie, Karen and Allyson left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement.
It continues: “Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.
“But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.
“The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.”
