JoJo Siwa’s $900 ‘Dream Guest VIP’ concert experience has fans asking, ‘what is this?’

LGBTQ+ icon JoJo Siwa is selling a $900 “Dream Guest VIP” concert experience, but one particular “perk” has caused a huge stir online, BuzzFeed reports.

Siwa, who turned heads when she arrived at the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet on March 17 to debut her bold new hairstyle, has announced that she’s going on tour. 

The pop star’s ticket prices start at a moderate $67 for general admission standing tickets and go up to $236.60 for the “VIP Meet and Greet,” $413.60 for “The Ultimate VIP,” and a whopping $944.60 for the “Dream Guest VIP” package.

However, the latter experience, which Siwa described as her “most exclusive” offering, has sparked controversy due to its high price…. and the fact you end up with various jobs to do.

The $944.60 experience will allow lucky buyers to attend a pre-show Q&A and soundcheck with JoJo Siwa, help “put together the show with song selection input,” and receive “autographed JoJo memorabilia worn during the show.”

Additional perks include a photo opportunity, VIP-exclusive merchandise and early entry into the building with priority access to the floor. 

‘What kinda s**t is that’

Taking to X, one person tweeted laughing emojis, adding, “Paying $900 to work that’s absolutely insane”. 

Someone else commented of the astronomical price, what stage of capitalism is this”, while another wrote, “Jojo Siwa having a $900 vip ticket package where you can help set up the stage… girl what kinda s**t is that”. 

Another remarked: “She’s insufferable, pay her to work for her.” 

“Who the f**k wants to help set up a concert?” another wrote, while someone else added, “Let people pay to do labor for rich people”. 

Someone else wrote: “As if people can actually afford to see concerts right now…terrible timing…” 

“Oh jee what a generous offer to the fans,” another joked.

But other’s seem to have no problem with the pricing, with one writing: “convince me right now not to buy pit tickets for jojo siwa”.

Another wrote: “JoJo Siwa tour tickets SECURED.” 

Speaking to Access Hollywood about the tour, Siwa said of her VIP packages: “I wanted to make them really different than what the typical VIP experience is. 

“You are actually going to get to come during while we’re loading in the show, and you’re gonna get to kind of help us set it up and make sure things are right and test out the drum with me or the DJ booth with me.”
