Pinhead has finally “come” to queer favourite horror game Dead by Daylight.
The iconic Hellraiser villain, also known as also known as The Hell Priest, is a Cenobite in the Order of the Gash. has been added as part of the game’s new chapter that’s available now.
However, an update has already removed voice lines from the character that many players found amusing.
Pinhead has an ability that allows him to teleport across the map to survivors attempting to open his Lament Configuration box, at which point he’ll shout out “I came”.

Yes, it’s a reference to the film, but it certainly undermines the horror villain who instead comes across (no pun intended) like a bad porn actor.
The latest patch notes for the game states: “The Cenobite’s voice over lines have been removed due to complications with the audio files.”
One fan responded to developer Behaviour Interactive on Twitter, asking “you mean he isn’t coming anymore!?”
“He still comes, just without announcing it,” was the official reply.

Surely Behaviour knows exactly what they’re doing.
Pinhead’s description on the website also comes across as a little sexual. “A demon to some, an angel to others,” it reads. “Pinhead is an explorer in the further regions of experience, indulging in the limitless thrill of pleasure and pain.”
Meanwhile his main killer ability is Summons of Pain: “An extradimensional gateway that leads to pleasure and pain so great it will tear your soul apart.”
Fans are disappointed at the lines being removed, but remain pretty thirsty about the new killer.

Pinhead joins the likes of Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger and Ghost Face as classic horror movie killers, as well as characters from Resident Evil and Silent Hill.
The Hellraiser DLC also comes with new perks and cosmetic items. Visit the Dead by Daylight website for details.
