Celebrity Big Brother‘s Danny Beard has dished on the relationship between recent co-stars JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes after leaving the show.
Danny Beard, who won the fourth season of Drag Race UK and placed as the runner-up to the recently concluded season of Celebrity Big Brother, spoke exclusively to PinkNews to give their hot take on the ‘relationship’ between Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and former Love Islander Chris Hughes.
In the House, the pair became close – so close, in fact, that other Housemates started to take notice, despite the fact that Siwa was dating non-binary Australian influencer Kath Ebbs during her time in the house.
“I did what I would do to any of my friends in that situation,” Danny tells PinkNews. “Which is say, ‘Hey, this is how it looks from the outside, if you want to carry on, carry on.’”
“Fundamentally, their relationship is their personal business and not mine, I just know how I would have felt if my boyfriend would see me doing that, and I wouldn’t want him to feel like that, so I was making JoJo aware, ‘This is how I would feel if I was your [partner].”

Jojo Siwa and Chris Hughes quickly became close in the Celebrity Big Brother House, with many viewers pointing out just how intimate the pair’s relationship looked – leading Ebbs to disable her comments on social media.
Siwa then broke up with Ebbs at the wrap party for Celebrity Big Brother, according to a video that Ebbs posted in which they spoke about feeling ‘humiliated’ by the situation.
Siwa and Hughes reunited in public at a golf club several days later – and Siwa also spoke about the breakup on ITV’s This Morning (28 April).
Siwa explained that it had not been her “plan” to break up with Ebbs at that point, explaining: “Initially, I was told that, you know, the wrap party was something they didn’t want to attend. And then about an hour into the wrap party, they decided they wanted to, and so I was genuinely just going to have a conversation before…
“They straight up asked me if I was happy, and I said no. And, you know, one thing led to another, and that conversation did take place there.”
