The Met Gala 2025 is finally here, and Shaboozey has officially made his Met Gala debut on the blue carpet.
The Met Gala at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art is arguably the biggest night in fashion. This year’s event has already seen a series of LGBTQ+ stars and icons giving their take on the theme, which for this year is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
For the country music star, his take on this year’s theme is all in the details. Shaboozey, born Collins Obinna Chibueze, added turquoise grills, two rings and a watch, and matching turquoise beads across his torso and lower back.

Swapping out his signature Stetson hat for a slanted black Boater-style hat, his cropped black bolero jacket and flare trousers all featured a wood grain pattern.
But before the Cowboy Carter collaborator donned the jacket, fans started thirsting over the star. In what appeared to be a repeat of last year’s Andrew Scott’s arms saga, attention also fell onto Shaboozey’s very toned arms.
As the “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” hitmaker stepped out of The Mark Hotel prior to his Met Gala appearance in the bedazzled sleeveless top, fans took to X to reflect on the very unhinged “diabolical things” they wanted to express about his striking look.

“His arms,” one fan simply wrote with a heart eyes emoji (enough said, tbh), while another echoed, “Nice arms.”
“Shaboozey got a shabooty my goodness,” another quipped of the star. “Whew he so fine,” wrote a fourth.
Meanwhile, others reflected that the singer could be following in the footsteps of Beyoncé’s style, specifically the outfits echoed in the star’s politically and historically-charged “Formation” music video of 2016.
“Ready to get in ‘Formation’,” one wrote of Shaboozey, while another noted, “Chanelling his inner Beyoncé ‘Formation’.”
