Celebrity Big Brother Housemate and Tory MP Michael Fabricant has opened up about his polyamorous lifesyle for the first time – to none other than Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard.
We know, it’s a fever dream of an opening line, but that’s what Celebrity Big Brother is all about.
The latest cast of 13 celebs have entered the Big Brother House, including “Karma” singer and Dance Moms star Jojo Siwa, former Love Island star Chris Hughes and Olympian Daley Thompson – all hosted by Will Best and AJ Odudu.
Perhaps the two most opposing characters in the house have been earmarked as the bisexual Conservative MP Sir Michael Fabricant and champ of Drag Race UK, season four, Danny Beard, with many viewers predicting an eventual Celebrity Big Brother clash.
That’s a sentiment shared by the other Housemates as when the pair met on Launch Night, pop star Chesney Hawkes told the pair, “This is the relationship we’ve all been waiting for.”
Danny then told Fabricant, “If you could convert from Tory after this, I’d love ya,” to which the politician joked, “To Reform?”
“No, not further into the closet, so to speak,” Danny joked, after which Fabricant unexpectedly opened up about his polyamorous relationship.

“I’ve never been in the closet,” Fabricant said. “[My relationship] is complicated. I have someone that I have known for 35 years, who’s 13 years younger than me, but I also have… two friends, and we all go on holidays separately, with me or not,” he explained to Celebrity Big Brother co-stars Jojo Siwa
Danny asked: “Would you call that polyamory, an open relationship? Because I actually think a lot of gay people are like that and a lot of straight people don’t understand it.”
Nodding his head in apparent agreement, Fabricant before later adding: “I would maybe say I’ve got very deep friendships. That would maybe be more tactful.”
