Cara Delevingne sends sapphics wild with completely see-through $10,000 dress

The sapphics are simply Not OK after Cara Delevingne wore a see-through vintage dress to the premiere of Ocean With David Attenborough in London.

The 32-year-old queer model and actress sported a lacy black thong under the sheer material which also featured a plunging neckline and carries a price tag of over $10,000 (£7,300).

She paired the look with a black blazer and matching peep-toe heels, with a statement necklace featuring a bird pendant with spread wings.

According to Annie’s Ibiza – which sells the dress – the fabric was made in Cairo in the 1920’s from Tulle-bi-telli, a “hand-woven textile that originated in Upper Egypt during the 19th Century” and is “made by interweaving cotton or linen threads with thin metal wires in silver to create intricate geometric designs”.

The gown’s striped neckline is also crafted from real silver.

Delevingne appeared on the red carpet alongside her sister Poppy, 39, who is currently pregnant with her first child with her partner Archie Keswick.

On social media, sapphics were quick to sing their praises for the look, filling the comment sections of various posts about Delevingne’s semi-transparent number with a string of heart and fire emojis.

“She’s effortlessly beautiful,” one fan wrote.

“slayyy queeen 🔥🔥 obsessed wowwww,” another praised.

“That necklace…damn 🫠🤌,” a third wrote of the chunky pendant, which many others said they want to own.

Others, in typical queer lingo, declared she “ate” and “slayed” the look.

Delevingne, who identifies as pansexual, has been in a relationship with indie singer Minke since 2022 and credits her with helping her feel “happy and comfortable” and supporting her with her sobriety.

The pair originally met 20 years ago at boarding school, but only reconnected in 2022 at an Alanis Morissette concert before they eventually started dating.

“My girlfriend has been really wonderful in introducing me to a lot of things and people,” she said in an interview for a September issue of Elle.

“Being with my girlfriend, in this relationship, there are just so many things that came at once that have made me so happy and comfortable with who I am,” she added.
