Anna Camp and her partner Jade Whipkey have made their red carpet debut after the Pitch Perfect star came out publicly earlier this year.
The actress, who appeared in the fifth and final season of You, stepped out for the first time on the red carpet with her girlfriend Whipkey. The pair attended the premiere of Camp’s upcoming action/comedy Bride Hard, which also stars fellow Pitch Perfect alum, Rebel Wilson.
Styled by Annabelle Harron, Camp fittingly wore a light blue sequin maxi dress as her “something blue”, while her partner complemented her classy look in a beige oversized suit jacket and matching trousers.
“Thankyou @rebelwilson for being my bride or die and to my girlfriend @jadewhipkey for being my date and for making me glow,” Camp doted on Instagram.
Whipkey, meanwhile, commented: “You crushed it honey, congrats. I’m so lucky to be by your side.”
Their red carpet debut comes after the star recently told Pride that she feels “so welcomed and supported” since coming out.
“It’s been really wonderful to be so welcomed and so supported, especially by my really beautiful, wonderful friend here,” she said of her co-star Wilson.
“Life is an evolution, I’ve continued to evolve,” Camp added. “And I’m very, very happy where I am today.”
Camp and Wilson also quipped in the interview that “All the Bellas are gay now!”. The Barden Bellas are the fictional all-female acapella group in the Pitch Perfect franchise.
Besides Wilson and Camp, Ester Dean, who plays Bella member Cynthia Rose, in the films is also queer. Their co-star Ben Platt, who plays Benji Applebaum, also came out as gay in 2019.
