Yes, it’s that time of year again, and for once we’re not talking about Pride Month. Yes, Love Island 2025 is almost upon us, bringing with it the usual collection of over-the-top, glamorous, tanned, toned individuals.
Models, personal trainers, and footballers are all set to enter the Love Island villa next week (9 June). Will the rumoured line-up be true, and what drama will unfold?
The Sun and MailOnline claim to have the scoop on the cast, and they have been right before.
The 12th season of the reality dating show, in which the ‘islanders’ (contestants) look for love by repeatedly pairing up with new partners until they find their other half, will be hosted by Maya Jama and promises to up the stakes as it celebrates a decade on air.
As the Love Island hopefuls may currently be putting on last-minute fake tan and frantically packing their suitcases, here is everything we know about the rumoured Love Island 2025 cast so far:

Reality TV star and skin treatment business owner Gabriella Bardsley may be an islander preparing to strut into the villa. She has the nepo baby badge, the daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire‘s Tanya Bardsley and former footballer Phil Bardsley.
Bardsley is also familiar with the camera; she appeared on her family’s reality show, The Bardsley Bunch, which aired on the Love Island broadcaster ITV. Reports indicate that the Love Island producers have been trying to get her on the show for years. Perhaps this is her year!
Tommy Bradley
The Sun are claiming that Tommy Bradley is a confirmed cast member. Bradley has been documenting his gym routines online, alongside his boxer brother Jamie, perhaps preparing for the villa?
A source told the outlet: “Tommy seems to tick all the Love Island boxes as the cheeky chappy of this summer’s series.
“He looks to enjoy a night out with the lads and out on the boxing scene with his brother. But he’s also packed on serious muscle over the last year ready for telly’s famous villa and is no longer just a personality hire. Execs are finalising who will be in the OG line-up and who will be a bombshell.”
Aaron Buckett
Personal trainer Aaron Buckett is 6″5′, which many outlets are claiming may give him the edge when it comes to catching attention from the ladies. Buckett doesn’t post much on Instagram. However, it seems he’s a fan of sunny holidays and parties, a perfect Love Island pairing.
“It’s a fact of life that girls go crazy for a tall lad, and Aaron is a man mountain. He’s got great chat too,” a source told The Sun. “Aaron is in the mix for this year’s cast, but execs are still finalising whether he’ll be in the opening line-up or as a tempting bombshell.”
Megan Forte Clarke
Irish actress Megan Forte Clarke is a recent name that’s been floating around as a potential villa inhabitant. It’s been revealed that she’s friends with Love Island star Harriett Blackmore. Blackmore appeared on Love Island in 2024 and the second series of Love Island: All Stars in 2025. Perhaps Blackmore has given her friend some tips for the show?
From Dublin, Clarke has a substantial online following, which may have also piqued the producer’s interest. “Megan is a gorgeous girl, she’s funny, and right now, couldn’t be unluckier in love, making her the perfect Islander,” an insider claimed. Some have also compared her looks to Maura Higgins, a Love Island legend from the fifth series.
Harry Cooksley
Of course, there has to be a footballer on the show, and Harry Cooksley may be the one. The 30-year-old midfielder and vice-captain for Farnham Town signed to the club for the 2025/26 season. The club has said Cooksley is “beloved by the fans” and “has contributed towards 53 goals in his 96 appearances.” Farnham’s next match is July 1st, so we’ll have to see if Cooksley is in the country to play.
A source speaking about him shared: “Harry’s got the full package – a great, athletic bod and great chat. Love Island’s ladies love a footballer and The Surrey Zidane [his nickname] will be sure to impress as he plays away.”

22-year-old model Shakira Khan from Manchester is said to be in the Love Island line-up. Her Instagram’s travel shots posing in front of sandy beaches and blue water certainly paint her as a Love Island girlie.
“Shakira is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and will land a place in Love Island’s history books as a real beauty,” The Sun reported. “Execs are finalising who will be in the OG line-up and who will be a bombshell, but Shakira is in the mix. And viewers will be hoping she’s there to stay.”
Kodie Murphy
If you’ve got a model and a footballer, of course, you have to complete the triad with an influencer. Enter Kodie Murphy. He is being tipped to join Love Island after he was a bombshell for Casa Amor during the 2023 series. As he proudly states in his Insta bio “Love Island S10.” There he had a brief connection with Amber Wise, but nothing more came of it.
He seems to have teased a potential appearance on TikTok. He posted a video in the airport with the caption: “POV Love Island made the call again.” It’s either him capturing the buzz or the Love Island team looking to bring back former contestants, which has previously happened.
Lucy Quinn
Liverpudlian make-up artist Lucy Quinn is rumoured to be an islander. Not only would she make a stunning entrance, but her make-up artistry is bound to make her an MVP amongst the contestants for make-up touch-ups to be camera-ready. Her involvement on the show is said to be that of a bombshell (a new contestant introduced into the villa to disrupt the existing relationships).
“Lucy is single and ready to mingle. She can’t wait to enter the villa and is counting down the days until it becomes a reality,” an insider shared. “She’s fiery and doesn’t take any nonsense when it comes to dating but is equally looking for the man of her dreams, hopefully all will come true for her this summer.”
Michelle Roscoe
Recruitment advisor Michelle Roscoe is originally from the UK but currently resides in Ibiza. So, she’ll be used to the Love Island temperatures. If she does appear on the show, Roscoe will make history as the first openly trans person to appear on Love Island.
A source told The Sun that “Love Island is always looking to evolve and move with the times when it comes to its contestants. They have met with Michelle and spoken to her about whether Love Island would be the right show for her. She is absolutely gorgeous and an advocate for the trans community so she’d be an incredibly interesting contestant.
Roscoe recently posted a moving message of trans empowerment on Instagram. She wrote: “I’ve had to fight to become the woman I am today and I’m not letting a twisted, backwards & evil legislation bring me down. This crown isn’t slipping and the UK government will not win!!
“To my trans sisters: we must stay united. The news and social media can feel overwhelming so please remember to carve out time for yourself.We continue to rise. We continue to fight. TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN. Always. Stay strong, stay loud, stay proud.”
Rose Selway
24-year-old Rose Selway is an aesthetics practitioner from Devon. Like Clarke, she’s also said to have an in with the show with her clientele, including Lucinda Strafford and Jessy Potts.
“Rose has gone through the audition process with ITV2 and is being considered either for the opening lineup or as a bombshell,” an insider has stated. “Rose is friends with many former stars of the show so has a good idea what it’s like being in the villa and now she finally has the chance to experience it herself.”
Ella Rae Wise
Celebrity Big Brother and The Only Way Is Essex star Ella Rae Wise may be on her way to tick off another ITV reality show on her to-do list. She’s allegedly in talks to fly out to the villa for the summer.
After her split with Dan Edgar an insider has said she’s ready to date again. “It would have been far too soon for her to do something like Celebs Go Dating, but she’ll be up for a single girl summer in the sunshine.”
If she does sign on, Wise will follow in the footsteps of The Only Way Is Essex alum Joey Essex. He appeared as a celebrity contestant on Love Island season 11.
Love Island season 12 will begin on ITV2 and ITVX on Monday 9th June at 9pm.
