Vivian Jenna Wilson, the estranged trans daughter of tech billionaire Elon Musk, who has around 14 children, has publicly roasted the tycoon in a new interview, as well as challenging her father’s previous left-wing image, labeling it a “marketing scheme”.
A week after Vivian Jenna Wilson told Teen Vogue that she wanted to try streaming on Twitch, she ended up on YouTuber and streamer Hasan Piker’s channel where she spoke to Piker about her previous interview and being a trans woman as well as the daughter of Musk.
Piker also asked about Elon Musk presenting himself as a “liberal darling” in the early days of his success who has since pivoted, to which Wilson responded: “[Elon Musk] was not a liberal darling. I f*cking know him, he was never on the left. It was a marketing scheme.”
She also said that Tesla was a “Ponzi scheme”, which is a type of investment fraud that pays existing investors with money from new investors, not unlike multi-level marketing schemes (MLMs). k
“I know he’s been right-wing since at least 2016 but I don’t think he was ever left-wing. People think that we live in a novel and that [my transition is some tragic character motivation. This is not a novel. I am not the reason,” she said. “I cannot take credit for that, unfortunately.”
Instead, Wilson believes that it was the COVID-19 pandemic that led Musk further down the rabbit hole to becoming a leading right-wing figure and special advisor to Donald Trump, mentioning that they previously argued about wearing a mask.
“One of the last interactions we ever had was arguing about wearing a mask. He sent me this gif of a sheep and said, ‘Stop being sheeple.’ It was cringe,” Wilson explained.
The sheep gif is implying that Wilson was simply following the crowd by complying with mask mandates, a popular argument among COVID-19 conspiracy theorists and right-wingers back then.
Wilson also added that Musk was an “insecure little buffoon” who has lied to the world about being a great innovator when, in actual fact, “he doesn’t engineer anything”.
