“Walk of Fame” singer Miley Cyrus is set to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced on Wednesday (2 July) that three-time Grammy Award winner Miley Cyrus would be one of 35 stars to be added to the famed landmark on Hollywood Boulevard.
In a social media post following the announcement, Cyrus shared a clip from her recent “Walk of Fame” music video taken from her new Something Beautiful musical movie, and said the news felt “like a dream”.
“Honored to be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. When I first came to LA from Nashville as a little girl, my family would stay at a hotel on Hollywood Blvd, and I would go on late night walks with my dad when no one would recognize him,” she wrote.
Cyrus’s famous country singer father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is yet to receive a star on the Walk of Fame.
She continued: “We’d have the gift shops to ourselves & buy knock off Oscars and Marilyn Monroe merchandise.
“To now be cemented on this legendary boulevard, surrounded by the icons who inspired me, feels like a dream. This moment will live forever, thank you to everyone in my life who made it possible. I am grateful to share this star with you.”
At just 32-years-old, Miley Cyrus has become one of the biggest music stars of the 21st century, having released nine studio albums, three of which have topped the US Billboard charts.
Her most recent record Something Beautiful, which featured the single “End of the World”, reached number four on the US charts last month.
Her 2023 single “Flowers” became the fastest song in Spotify history to pass one billion streams, and topped the UK music charts for a consecutive ten weeks. The song bagged her two Grammys at the 2024 ceremony, in the Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance categories.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame class of 2026 is divided into five categories: Motion Pictures, Television, Recording, Live Theatre/Live Performance, and Sports Entertainment.
Alongside Cyrus, other stars to be added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026 include The Substance actress Demi Moore, A Complete Unknown actor Timothée Chalamet, The Devil Wears Prada stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, Buffy The Vampire Slayer lead Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Mean Girls star Rachel McAdams.
