Congratulations are in order! Kristen Stewart has married her fiancée Dylan Meyer, according to reports.
The pair, who got engaged in 2021, tied the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony at their home in Los Angeles on Sunday (20 April), as per TMZ. Guests reportedly included Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis.
The outlet reported that their wedding came after the pair went to a courthouse in Los Angeles County to receive a marriage license on Tuesday (15 April).
The couple started dating in 2019 and Stewart announced their engagement on The Howard Stern Show in November 2021, saying: “We’re marrying. I wanted to be proposed to, so I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. It’s happening.”
The pair met on a film set in 2013 and reconnected a few years later. Just a few weeks into their romantic relationship, Stewart told her now-wife she loved her. “The first time I told her that, we were sitting in this bar,” the actress told Stern.
“I’ve known her for like six years but we’d only started seeing each other and it was like two weeks in.
“I’d met her years ago on a movie and I hadn’t seen her in six years. Then she rocked up at a friend’s birthday party and I was like: ‘Where have you been and how have I not known you?’ She’s been living in LA alongside my life.”
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, featuring that iconic jockstrap cover, Stewart described why Meyer is the love of her life.
“I found the right person because I can be so obsessive about what I do. And luckily my girlfriend, my partner, we are into the same s**t” she said.
“We have taken the things that we’re spending our time on and interlocked them, and we’re so much f***ing smarter and stronger together. And you’re just like, ‘F**k, that is the best.’
