Hollywood superstar Jamie Lee Curtis will join her trans daughter Ruby on Twitch to raise funds as part of a Pride month fundraiser.
Curtis will join her daughter on Tuesday (3 June), from 2pm to 4pm (Pacific), and between noon and 3pm on Friday (6 June), to raise awareness and funds for the LGBTQ+ community.
Their appearance, in partnership with The Trevor Project and Streaming For A Cause, is part of Twitch’s official Pride programming.
Mother and daughter will welcome special guests, including Ariana Grande’s brother Frankie, who recently teased his upcoming debut album with new single “Boys”, podcaster Zach Sang, and the chief executive of The Trevor Project, Jaymes Black. The stream will take place on Ruby’s Twitch channel.
Last year, Curtis helped celebrate Ruby’s wedding anniversary. The Halloween star officiated at her daughter’s cosplay-themed wedding to partner Kynthia in 2022.

Curtis is a staunch ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Last November, she told her followers, ahead of Donald Trump’s presidential election victory, that now was the time to “wake up and fight” for their rights and freedoms.
Curtis has been married to fellow actor Christopher Guest since 1984. They have a second daughter, Annie.
Ruby works as a video editor for a YouTube gaming personality and told her parents that she was trans the year before coming out publicly in 2021.
During an interview with People magazine at the time, Ruby said: “It was scary, just the sheer fact of telling them something about me they didn’t know. It was intimidating but I wasn’t worried. They had been so accepting of me my entire life.”
