They also include his autograph or a specially created Hugo Boss logo alongside an autography motif, which are printed on three t-shirts and a hoodie.

The colours to choose from include black, white and yellow, with the latter inspired by the jacket worn by Mercury during his last tour with Queen in 1986.

There’s also a t-shirt that captures the spirit of the singer, with a quote reading: “I’m not going to be a star. I’m going to be a legend!”.

Hugo Boss say the collection “pays tribute to exceptional musician and game-changing performer”.

“Freddie’s flamboyant flair and everlasting personality along with Queen’s irrefutable sound and style continue to influence a new generation of fans and musicians to this day,” they add.

It’s part of the brand’s Boss Legends series, with each collection inspired by an iconic individual and a portion of profits being donated to a charity close to their heart.

Hugo Boss has confirmed that a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, which fights HIV and AIDs across the globe.

The charity was set up by Mercury’s bandmates, Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jim Beach in honour of the icon.

The apparel pieces are priced between £79-£179 and you can shop the Freddie Mercury collection exclusively at hugoboss.com/uk and hugoboss.com.
