Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has been permanently removed from the Celebrity Big Brother House after another incident of ‘seriously unacceptable’ behaviour – days after ‘homophobic’ comments to Jojo Siwa.
Last week, Iron Man 2 star Mickey Rourke was formally warned by Big Brother after indirectly referencing lesbian Dance Moms star Jojo Siwa as a “f*g,” with Love Island‘s Chris Hughes jumping to the “Karma” singer’s defence.
In Sunday’s episode (13 April), following multiple further incidents of “seriously unacceptable” behaviour, Rourke was asked to leave the CBB House, making him the second celeb to leave the series after the first evictee, bisexual Tory MP Sir Michael Fabricant.
Mickey made sexual jokes towards Housemate Ella Rae Wise (TOWIE) and called Chris a “c*nt” during an altercation in the week’s pirate-themed task.
In the kitchen, Ella told Mickey that he had to “come with me,” to a different room, to which Mickey responded, “come in you?”
Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard immediately said: “Mickey, you can’t make them jokes.”
Later, in the challenge, with the Housemates lined up as pirates facing Captain Jojo Siwa and Deputy Angelica Bell, Rourke stepped out of line to confront Hughes after the latter “eyeballed” him as part of the swashbuckling character.
“Don’t f**king eyeball me, you c*nt,” Rourke said.
With Beard and Siwa both trying to diffuse the situation, and ignoring Big Brother’s calls to the Diary Room, Rourke pointed to the ground, telling Hughes, “Your ass will be right there in a second.”

Mickey Rourke then entered the Diary Room, where he was asked the leave the House.
“Earlier today in a disagreement with Chris, your language and behaviour was threatening and aggressive. Big Brother does not tolerate threatening language or behaviour. In addition, you have used inappropriate sexual language to Ella,” Big Brother told Mickey in the Diary Room, to which the 72-year-old said he was “not aware” of the latter.
Big Brother continued, saying, “This language has caused offence to your fellow housemates and could cause offence to the viewing public. This is not the first time Big Brother has had to speak to you about your offensive and inappropriate language.”
Mickey replied, “Yes sir. I did wrong. I apologise. I’m sorry. I can’t take it back, you know, I stepped over the line. And I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. ‘Cause I lost my temper, and I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I’m very sorry.
“I’m ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset but, you know, I’m sorry about that.”
Big Brother then told Mickey, “Big Brother considers your language and behaviour today to be seriously unacceptable and as a result Big Brother has no option but to ask you to leave the Big Brother house.”
What has Mickey Rourke said about his ejection from Celebrity Big Brother?
Speaking about his ejection from the Celebrity Big Brother House in the Diary Room, Rourke reflected on his actions, saying, “I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, and I’m sorry for that.”
He added, “I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot. I went over the line, you know, I did wrong. I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress.”
Over the weekend, a Celebrity Big Brother spokeperson said, “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.”
Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by Will Best and AJ Odudu, is available to stream on ITVX. Live shows air Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV1 in the UK.
